Manganese Nitride

Introduction

As an alloy additive, Manganese Nitride is mainly used to smelt special alloy steel, high-strength steel, stainless steel, heat-resistant steel and other products, especially in large diameter steel pipes for transporting oil and natural gas and high-strength steel for manufacturing ships and automobiles. Nitrogen can improve the strength and plasticity of steel, expand the austenite zone, refine the grains and improve the workability.

Other Applications
  1. Manganese Nitride has chemisorption and is also used in the J-T adsorption chiller.
  2. Manganese Nitride is also widely used in the field of zero thermal expansion materials, which is due to the low thermal expansion of manganese nitride composites in a considerable temperature range.
  3. The reverse fluorite or Li3N structure of Manganese Nitride makes it have good lithium-ion fluidity, large reversible capacity and good reversibility. Manganese Nitride is also considered a promising anode material for lithium-ion batteries.
